Training MK delivers Presentation Skills training across the UK.
Who’s the Presentation Skills training course for?
Whether you suffer from Glossophobia (the fear of speaking publicly or speaking in general) or just want to improve your presentation skills, this course is for you.
Having to speak in public can be terrifying… from the front of the boardroom at the weekly meeting to the stage at a large event, it can cause anxiety, stress and fear. In fact, it’s one of the most common phobias and can stop many people from moving forward in their career. Maybe you avoid going for a promotion, attending an event, or even to change career to avoid the need of having to present to others.
And it’s more common than you may think. According to Wikipedia, some degree of anxiety and/or fear will be experienced by around 75% of all people.
But maybe you’re not anxious or have any fear at all, but just don’t know how to put an effective presentation together.
What does the Presentation Skills course include?
The Presentation Skills course is designed primarily to help build confidence in speaking publicly. We examine how we can speak clearly and deal with nerves, and also how to physically present ourselves. It’s important to understand what can turn off an audience, and what we can do to make sure our presentations are successful and engaging. What’s the objective and the key messages you want to put across? How can you grab the attention of an audience? And how can you structure the content? The course is a safe and fun platform for you to practice and try out new techniques so that you can deliver a presentation you can be proud of.
What’s the cost?
The cost of a day’s training is £450 (plus VAT). This is for the training to take place in your own business premises, with a maximum of 8 delegates, using your own computers and facilities. So, there’s no travel costs for the learners, in terms of both mileage and time. (Alternative premises and equipment hire can be arranged at an additional cost – contact us for more information).
